A Journey Of Self Discovery

smadmin 25 Aug. 2015 2 comments

The term „journey of self-discovery“ refers to a travel, pilgrimage, or series of events whereby a person attempts to determine how they feel, personally, about spiritual issues or priorities, rather than following the opinions of family, friends, neighborhood or peer pressure. The topic of self-discovery has been associated with Zen. A related term is „finding oneself“.

Journeys of self discovery are the stuff of legends, myths and fairy tales. And regardless of the differing names, lands and rewards .. they all speak about the same journey to know and value yourself.

Reasons for traveling include recreation, tourism or vacationing, research travel for the gathering of information, for holiday to visit people, volunteer travel for charity, migration to begin life somewhere else, religious pilgrimages and mission trips, business travel, trade, commuting, and other reasons, such as to obtain health care or fleeing war or for the enjoyment of traveling.

Sometimes you have to kind of die inside in order to rise from your own ashes and believe in yourself and love yourself to become a new person.

Travel may occur by human-powered transport such as walking or bicycling, or with vehicles, such as public transport, automobiles, trains and airplanes. Motives to travel include pleasure, relaxation, discovery and exploration, getting to know other cultures and taking personal time for building interpersonal relationships. A trip may also be part of a round-trip

Travel Diary Of A Girl

During her trip, Ahn went to countries such as Malaysia, India, Morocco, Spain, France, Italy, Egypt and Thailand. She did not set time limitation each country, and stay wherever she liked in a period of your choice. Ahn revealed that in this tour, she also had been sexually harassed and pickpockets. However, the warm smiles of the locals as well as tourists who she met on the street, and most of all the feeling of satisfaction when making dream fueled her.

Recently, Ahn went to Africa to travel across the continent from South Africa to Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia. She raised fund for 2 months trip by applealing to contributions from everyone.

Ahn also plans to use the proceeds from the book to charity in the name of those who donated to her. „I want to become a travel writer. When traveling, it seems that we tend to become overly sensitive to all aspects of life. My wish to express these feelings in his pages, „Ahn said.

Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.

Ahn collects informaton for trip by searching on the Internet. She focused on the experience of the local people life rather than sightseeing, so she visited small cities mainly to meet the local people rather than to the famous tourism location.

A Walk Through Forest

21 Okt. 2015 2 comments

Many people enjoy walk as a recreation in the mainly urban modern world, and it is one of the best forms of exercise. For some walking is a way to enjoy nature and the outdoors and for others the physical, sporting and endurance aspect is more important. There are a variety of different kinds of walking, including bushwalking, racewalking, hillwalking, volksmarching, Nordic walking, trekking, and hiking.

Some people prefer to walk indoors on a treadmill, or in a gym, and fitness walkers and others may use a pedometer to count the number of their steps.

In terms of tourism the possibilities range from guided walking tours in cities, to organized trekking holidays in the Himalayas. In the UK the term walking tour also refers to a multi-day walk or hike undertaken by a group or individual. A system of well organized trails exist in many other European counties, as well Canada, USA, New Zealand, and Nepal.

A lovely nook of forest scenery, or a grand rock, like a beautiful woman, depends for much of its attractiveness upon the attendance sense of freedom from whatever is low; upon a sense of purity and of romance.

Numerous walking festivals and other walking events take place each year all over the world. The world’s largest multi-day walking event is the International Four Days Marches Nijmegen in the Netherland. The „Vierdaagse“ (Dutch for „Four day Event“) is an annual walk that has taken place since 1909, being based at Nijmegen since 1916. Depending on age group and category, walkers have to walk 30, 40 or 50 kilometers each day for four days.

Fresh Grape Recipes

22 Okt. 2015 2 comments

A grape is a fruiting berry of the deciduous woody vines of the botanical genus Vitis. Grapes can be eaten raw or they can be used for making wine, jam, juice, jelly, grape seed extract, raisins, vinegar, and grape seed oil. Grapes are a non-climacteric type of fruit, generally occurring in clusters. Grapes are a type of fruit that grow in clusters of 15 to 300, and can be crimson, black, dark blue, yellow, green, orange, and pink.

Grape juice is obtained from crushing and blending grapes into a liquid. The juice is often sold in stores or fermented and made into wine, brandy, or vinegar.

In the wine industry, grape juice that contains 7–23% of pulp, skins, stems and seeds is often referred to as „must“. In North America, the most common grape juice is purple and made from Concord grapes, while white grape juice is commonly made from Niagara grapes, both of which are varieties of native American grapes, a different species from European wine grapes.

My favorite fruit is grapes. Because with grapes, you always get another chance. ‚Cause, you know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. But if you have a crappy grape, no problem

In most of Europe and North America, dried grapes are referred to as „raisins“ or the local equivalent. In the UK, three different varieties are recognized, forcing the EU to use the term „dried vine fruit“ in official documents. A raisin is any dried grape. While raisin is a French loanword, the word in French refers to the fresh fruit; grappe (from which the English grape is derived) refers to the bunch

Social Aspects Of Bikes

26 Sep. 2015 2 comments

A bicycle, often called a bike or cycle, is a human-powered, pedal-driven, single-track vehicle, having two wheels attached to a frame, one behind the other. The bicycle has had a considerable effect on human society, in both the cultural and industrial realms. Around the turn of the 20th century, bicycles reduced crowding in inner-city tenements by allowing workers to commute from more spacious dwellings in the suburbs.

They also reduced dependence on horses. Bicycles allowed people to travel for leisure into the country, since bicycles were three times as energy efficient as walking and three to four times as fast.

A number of cities around the world have implemented schemes known as bicycle sharing systems or community bicycle programs. The first of these was the White Bicycle plan in Amsterdam in 1965. It was followed by yellow bicycles in La Rochelle and green bicycles in Cambridge.

These initiatives complement public transport systems and offer an alternative to motorized traffic to help reduce congestion and pollution.

In Europe, especially in the Netherlands and parts of Germany and Denmark, bicycle commuting is common. In Copenhagen, a cyclists‘ organization runs a Cycling Embassy that promotes biking for commuting and sightseeing. The United Kingdom has a tax break scheme (IR 176) that allows employees to buy a new bicycle tax free to use for commuting. In the Netherlands all train stations offer free bicycle parking, or a more secure parking place for a small fee, with the larger stations also offering bicycle repair shops.

Decor Ideas Using Jars

21 Sep. 2015 2 comments

Cookie jars are utilitarian or decorative ceramic or glass jars often found in American and Canadian kitchens. In the United Kingdom, they are known as biscuit barrels or biscuit jars. If they are cans made out of tinplate, they are called biscuit tins. While used to store actual cookies or biscuits, they are sometimes employed to store other edible items like candy or dog treats, or non-edible items like currency (in the manner of a piggy bank).

Cookie jars, also known as biscuit barrels or jars, have been used in England since the latter part of the 18th century. They were often made of glass with metal lids. Cookie jars became popular in America.

The glass jar is often an essential for any kitchen cupboard. They can be used to preserve or store items as diverse as jam, pickled gherkin, other pickles, marmalade, sundried tomatoes, olives, jalapeño peppers, chutneys, pickled eggs, honey, and many others. They are also frequently re-used in order to put home-made preserves in.

The Happy Jar. A homemade jar of individual sentiments on paper designed to cheer up a faraway loved one. Could make one up for a child who is a hesitant sleepaway camper or first time college student. This is from Our Army Life

Jars are sterilised by putting them in boiling water or an oven for a number of minutes. If they are not required for further storage of items, they can be recycled. A closure applied to the mouth of a jar can be a screw cap, lug cap, cork stopper, or other suitable means. Glass jars are considered microwavable with care taken to prevent splashing of boiling contents
